Personal responsibility is the new fail by Shakefellow

I didn’t write this, I wish I had, someone who signs himself as “Shakefellow” did. It is quite elegant in a very simple, understated way.

We are separated by our belief systems.

Some of us believe hard work, education, ethics, and morality should rule our world. Other’s believe they are entitled to a free ride. They should be able to smoke, drink excessively, take drugs, eat themselves into obesity and then when the inevitable happens, and they become ill, those of us who didn’t make those choices should have to pay for their healthcare. We should also pay for their choice not to use birth control measures even though it’s free in most states.

Personal responsibility is a new fail.

Crime is on the rise and violence is the norm rather than unusual. Americans are buying guns at a record rate and all this is because of the devisive rhetoric in our political system. I want to hear more speeches about American’s working together to keep America great.

I want to hear about all of us wanted criminals kept from crossing our borders. I want to hear about the goverment cutting back on the lavish lifestyles in Washington, which is now one of the wealthiest cities in America.

Don’t worry about private industry getting rich, worry about our government workers getting rich on our taxes. We need infrastructure work, etc but instead Washington just gets richer.

They all just got raises and President Obama signed that knowing that millions of Americans dont have jobs. I could go on and on but I’m sure there are those on this blog who realize all this just as much as I do.

About J. D. Groover

I truely believe that what should matter most in life is how you see yourself, not how someone else tries to convince you to see yourself. *****Life is not about "finding yourself"*****its about creating yourself.!!!!! I write and post things here because I like to think I am contributing some things of value to my world. Some times a little humor, some times things with a more serious tone, but hopefully always in good taste. If what I post occasionally bites a politician in the ass, all the better :>)

“Crime is on the rise and violence is the norm rather than unusual.” I do share most of the opinions stated in this article. Some of the facts are accurate. However, the one above in quotes IS NOT. Recently releases statistics on violent crime show we are at a 30 year low. That kind of mis-information invalidates the complete article.

It is not misinformation, it is an opinion and it does not invalidate anything. Your comment serves to identify you as an Obama suck-up who is apparently benefitting from his socialist agenda. By all means continue to worship at his holy shrine. He needs people like you, nobody else does.
