About Jim G.

I truely believe that what should matter most in life is how you see yourself, not how others try to convince you to see yourself. Life is not about "finding yourself"....its about creating yourself. I'm old now, bearing down on 70 years old with ever increasing velocity. I do, at last, believe I have a pretty good grasp of my world. Too bad I didn't have this clarity of thought and understanding when I was much younger and was quite certain that I knew just about everything :>) Life could have been a lot more interesting. My brain still functions pretty well (maybe not quite as well as it once did) but good enough to get by on. The damned body keeps trying to crap out on me though and that's aggravating. Absolutely NOTHING works as well as it once did....it pisses me off sometimes. Ah well, I'm not done yet. I still do have some interesting experiences in my life. For a while I resented having to go to so many doctors and take so much medicine, but then I realized, I'm actually helping take money out of the government's hands and back into the private sector. That's always a good thing :>)
